The Devour Suppressor Cover protects yourself and your gear against suppressor heat. The Devour cover also helps to mitigate optical mirage. As an added benefit it protects your silencer from scratches and dings that come with normal use. It is easy to put on allowing you to install or remove a suppressor while still hot. This prevents you from getting burned while letting you shoot comfortably from different positions. – The suppressor cover features include an industrial silica-coated non-slip design held tight with adjustable straps. This wrap is ultra light-weight with aramid fabric and was designed in South Dakota. – This suppressor cover is designed for use with bolt action rifles and limited firing on semi-automatic firearms. It is not designed for rates of fire that exceed an operating temperature on the suppressor over 450°F. For the best results with this silencer cover firing rates should be limited in order to allow the suppressor and cover to cool between firing cycles. It is not rated for high rates of fire with 5.56 Short barrel rifles or magazine dumps. For high rates of fire we recommend using the Silencer Central laced suppressor covers. – For reference 450°F is reached with 20 consecutive rounds on .308 bolt action rifles or 30 consecutive rounds of 5.56 semi-auto use.
